I've been to Bali three times now and I've never visited Tanah Lot. It is a must if you go to Bali, even if it is really touristy. It is located in Tabanan, Bali.
It was extremely bright before the sunset. Searing sun.
The tide was slowly coming in. Beware, don't rub your skin against these rocks b/c I got some weird abrasion afterwards.
Since the sun was still so bright, I used two GND filters, 0.6 + 0.9.
Used the pop-up flash for this and the next picture.
Unfortunately, I didn't bring a tripod with me. Too bad b/c I could've got some nice long exposures here.
Once we headed back to the parking lot, the sunset became obscenely nicer.
Ta-da. And that is why you have to go to Tanah Lot to see the sunset.
