Yoppy & Fani - Engagement Photoshoot

Hi all! I'd like to share my favourite photos from my latest engagement shoot with Yoppy and Fani.

They will be getting married next May in Bali! We tried to shoot on a weekend in October to capture the fall colours, however we were a little bit early. No worries though, we still had a great time :)
We went to multiple locations on the same day. Here is the information:

Location: 1. Kortright Centre for Conservation, Vaughan, ON
2. Kleinburg Village, ON
3. Kariya Park, Mississauga, ON
Gear: Canon EOS 6D, Sigma 35mm f/1.4, Canon 85mm f/1.8,
Canon 100mm f/2.8L, Canon 17-40 f/4L, Lumopro LP160, Cactus V4 triggers.
Assistant: Mikha (my little brother, don't worry, he was compensated accordingly)
Conditions: Sun/cloud mix, light rain

Note: Blogger's picture quality is not the best, please keep that in mind when viewing the photos :)

We start our shoot at the Kortright Centre for Conservation.
There was some really beautiful light on this spot!
I wanted to capture and emphasize their shadows.
I tried a new method for editing the temperature of a scene using Lightroom's graduated filters. I think I am pretty satisfied with it!
We went looking for this spot through the hiking trails and it turned out that it was right beside the parking lot. Oops.
This was an accidental fire from the flash (I forgot to turn off the transmitter). I actually really like the lens flare that it gave off!
I really loved the green hues given off by the trees in the background.
Taken at the beautiful balcony at Kortright Centre's reception area.
We arrived at Kleinburg Village for our second location.
I asked Fani if they had a sentimental item and here it is, Kwang Soo the giraffe :P
Last location: Kariya Park! It was a little crowded but we managed to slip some shots without anyone in the background.

Thanks to Fani & Yoppy for entrusting me with your engagement photos. Wishing you both blessings & love in your journey. Special thanks to Mikha and Enny for coming along and helping the shoot go smoothly.

Til' next time!

  1. The view at Chicago wedding venues was amazing. This event was in the evening so it’s really a site to see when the sun sets. Just beautiful! If you are planning your wedding here, don't worry too much about how to make it look even more beautiful.
