Pictured Rocks: Part Two

Continuing from Part 1, we continue on to hiking the features of the park. There is no fee to entering the park unless you're camping. Originally, I wanted to visit all the notable places in two days but eventually we realized that this was impossible. The weather was also on-and-off rainy. The only place that we were really able to see up close was Chapel Rock/Beach and Miners Castle. We had no time for the others :(
Nonetheless, the places we did go to were pretty spectacular.

Pictured Rocks: Part One

Hello there! Technically this is Part Two of my trip, but anyways...As mentioned in the last blog post we stayed one night at Bay City, MI. We drove about 5 hours from Bay City to another Econo Lodge in Wetmore, which is a few minutes away from Munising, where we will embark on a 2.5 hour sunset cruise of the Pictured Rocks.

Hello err'body. This weekend we went on a roadtrip to Michigan's Upper Penninsula. Our main destination was the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. It is about a 10 hour drive from Toronto, not counting the border wait time (which can be up to an hour or more on peak days). We stayed in the Michigan area for 3 nights. Since it's such a long drive, we stayed a night in an Econo Lodge in Bay City and visited Frankenmuth.
