I've been meaning to do this series for a long time actually. I love golden hours and sunsets and will photograph them when given the chance. From now on, I will try to post photos of sunsets that catch my eye as frequently as possible. These posts will be quite brief but enjoyable (I hope). Today's sunset was probably the nicest I've seen all summer--just spectacular.
Once I saw the hues of pink and orange in the sky from my house, I knew that it was going to be a good one. Since the view of the sunset surrounding my house is blocked by houses and trees, I had to walk to the main road to get a clear view.
I took this shot at the nearest intersection and accidentally bumped into a jogger...oops, sorry. But the pictures were worth the trouble.
Since I rushed out of the house to take these shots, I was dressed quite unruly--wrinkled white t-shirt, gym shorts, and Crocs.
The best of the sunset lasted about 10 minutes at most. After that I proceeded to take a photo of my neighbour's outdoor lamp. That's all. I hope to post more of these as they come.
