Chasing Sunsets 5

Hello! This is probably my favourite out of all the "Chasing Sunsets" series. It was a gloomy, rainy day. After heading out to dinner with my brothers, we saw the golden hue in the sky peek out from the dark rain clouds. Suddenly, the skies just opened up with the most amazing light.
It was incredible. I didn't have my DSLR with me but I was more than happy to shoot with my Nexus 4. All the shots were taken on the phone and edited with VSCO Cam, transferred via DropBox and cropped on LR4.
We stopped by a local gas station and I crossed the street, stopped halfway and snapped this photo.
Sunsets have different phases. You can get totally different colours from start to finish so make sure you stay until it completely sets! A lot of times it gets better and better! The reflection was from the roof of my Mazda.
We stopped on a dead end road with a construction site. It was quite nice actually and it gave me subjects to shoot.
It is rare to see such a dramatic sunset. It was wonderful. The Nexus 4 doesn't have the best camera out there but I've been shooting with it a lot more ever since I got an Instagram account.
On the way home.

I hope you enjoyed this short post. I will be going to Michigan to visit the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. I am very excited to take photos, it is apparently very beautiful there!

See you soon!
